I want to thank DU team for the great communication that they initiate via their conference room on Saturdays. I enjoyed every moment of it, and I learned a lot. I visited a few cities in Ukraine last year. The country is very beautiful. I loved the nature of Crimea and the Black sea. I also admired the architecture of Kiev and Lviv. People were kind and nice to me. The services were not as good as in European countries, but I was OK. I loved Crimean wines and enjoyed Black sea boat trips around Yalta.

In 2008 I travelled to Odessa with my friend. The city is just incredible, very beutiful, and terrible romantic.
The only thing there are a lot of cheats at the train station, who suggest inexpensive lodging close to the sea with all kind of comfort. But in reality it is not true. One of them is a young, tall guy in dark sunglasses driving the old BMW. Be cautios!

Ukraine is a beautiful country like morocco,i've been in many cities: kharkov,lvov,kiev,dnepr,zaparoji,odessa...kajdi Each city has its own style, ukrainians are in general kind and sociable. I will never forget Ukraine!

I love Ukraine and the people there. I visit one or two times each year. I've been to a number of cities and people are very friendly everywhere. I'd like to go to Western Ukraine this time. Lots of historical sites and they say the culture is different there. I am looking to combine it with a short trip to Poland this time. Dale.

What is it like to live in Ukraine? I've always wanted to visit there, its where my granddad was from. I think during World War 2 my granddad came over to England and here I am, I don't know much about him but I would love to find out and see if I have relatives there! I love being partly Ukrainian :)
